Civitas Suites Hotel exceeded all our expectations with its welcoming atmosphere and the stunning breakfast view outside. The staff was exceptionally friendly, making us feel at home.

Water pressure inconsistencies plagued days two and three of the stay, leaving showers feeling more like dribbles. A lack of cooking equipment in the suite meant that even with a cooking hob, there were no pans or utensils for use. Room maintenance needs attention, with damp spots on the plastering and some cupboard handles missing, impacting the overall charm. TV service malfunctioned when attempting to access Netflix and Amazon, making downtime less enjoyable.

The Civitas Suites Hotel's unique loft-style suites provided a charming and cozy atmosphere, making for an enjoyable stay.

The lack of cooking utensils and equipment in the kitchenette limited our ability to prepare meals despite having the option to cook in our suite.

The stay was perfect for exploring the local attractions. The room was nice and spacious, and the shower experience was exceptional. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to walk to places like the Fortress or the Old Town. The breakfast offered a delightful variety, and enjoying it on the terrace was a highlight of each morning. I appreciated the warm atmosphere and how convenient everything was around us.

Great spot with easy access to the beach and old town. We loved the delicious breakfast with unique local dishes and the warm, friendly staff who went out of their way to help. We hit up the local beaches and explored the charming alleyways nearby. Highly recommend checking out the nearby restaurants for some authentic Cretan cuisine.

While I enjoyed my stay, the room had a small bathroom, making it a bit tricky for someone larger to maneuver comfortably. It could be a concern for tall guests.

I stayed in a Deluxe Suite with City View for 1 night and the room was nice and spacious set on two floors, which was cool. The bed was super comfy, and I enjoyed the large bathroom. But the dark corridor to get to the room was a bit weird and could be better lit. The a la carte breakfast was excellent, which totally made up for it!

Just a great fit for a weekend rest in Rethymno with fantastic value. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was a nice surprise after a long day. Make sure to park in the Marina lot after dropping off your bags.
